Bell puts Bomaderry back in control
FOUR wickets to Bomaderry’s Jason Bell has helped his team reel in a confident Ulladulla side that looked set to claim first inning points in their match at Ulladulla Sports Park.
Ulladulla won the toss and sent Bomaderry to the crease. The Bomaderry openers had a rare slip up with Scott Fagerlund out for a duck and Jarryd Sue on his way back to the sheds for eight.
Ulladulla captain Mark Jackson (3/29/13), Terry Dorrell (3/12/10) and Wes Holmes (3/16/6) helped hold the visitors to just 96 runs, dismissing them in the 49th over.
In reply the Ulladulla top order struggled against the Bomaderry bowling attack as Jason Bell sliced out on his way to amazing figures of 4/5/4.
At stumps Ulladulla was 6/37 from 18 overs, still 59 runs short of Bomaderry’s total.
