GREAT GIRL: Elle Davidson is thrilled to become the 2013 Berry Showgirl.
YOUNG law student Elle Davidson from Coolangatta was “overwhelmed” to be chosen as 2013 Berry Showgirl.
The former Nowra Anglican College and Illawarra Grammar School girl was inspired to enter the show by all the entrants who had preceded her.
“Always going to the show and seeing the girls,” meant Ms Davidson had grown up hoping that one day she could be a showgirl too.
“It’s also a big part of being involved in the community, a way of giving back for having had a good education and a chance to represent Berry,” she said.
The 22-year-old is studying a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Science, majoring in psychology, at the University of Wollongong and plans to become a criminal law prosecutor.
In the meantime she has the zone final at Castle Hill this Saturday, and if successful there, she has a chance to become the winner of the The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl Competition which will be announced at the Sydney Royal Easter Show on March 30.
