THERE were some great sights in the junior paraders’ cattle ring at this year’s Berry Show.
The next generation of exhibitors were plying their trade. For many, it was the first time they had ventured into the show ring and they all showed skill and determination as they tried to put their cows in the best possible light in front of judge Robert Wilson.
Three-year-old Brodee Green of Bolong took to the ring with Dita and did a great job parading her around the ring, even though she towered over him.
It proved a challenging time for chief cattle steward Col Walsh and his wife Sue as they tried to watch their son Justin mix it in the open milk and champion cow divisions while their grandson Brodee was in the junior paraders.
