THE road over Cambewarra Mountain was closed to traffic following a landslip at about noon.
A large tree and a section of the embankment and bushland blocked Moss Vale Road in both directions on the western side of Cambewarra Mountain near Beaumont.
Motorists are advised to avoid Moss Vale Road through to Kangaroo Valley due to the landslip.
Traffic is being diverted from the road with police redirecting traffic at the intersection of Moss Vale Road and Main Road Cambewarra and on the Kangaroo Valley side of the landslip at the intersection of Moss Vale Road and Kangaroo Valley Road.
Emergency crews were on site at 1.30pm attempting to clear the roadway.
