Car makes surprise entrance at salon

A BOMADERRY hairdresser got more than she bargained for when she went to work on Friday with a vehicle smashing into the front door of her business.

The vehicle jumped the kerb at the Lyndhurst Centre and smashed into the front window of Dianne’s Hair Design.

Owner Dianne Edwards said she was at the rear of the premises at about 9.30am when she heard a loud bang and a crash.

“Luckily no one was around at the time or it could have been serious,” she said.

“It was pretty lucky actually – usually there are young kids hanging around the front of the shops.”

The vehicle, which also suffered minor damage, smashed the glass in the door.

Apart from dented pride the driver and a passenger in the vehicle were uninjured in the accident.
