FAMILIES preparing for the new school year have help at hand in the form of a new back-to-school website.
The new website will offer information about how families can best prepare for the new school year.
In NSW, more than 745,000 students will return to 2223 public schools from Wednesday, January 30.
The website, www.backtoschool.nsw.edu.au, will provide:
• Tips for parents and students on starting preschool, primary school and moving from primary to high school;
• Answers to frequently asked questions about uniforms, school fees and homework;
• Links to the Education Department’s School A to Z resource; and
• NSW school term and holiday dates.
Further assistance will also be available on the Back to School Hotline – 1300 738 338 – which also offers information about how families can best prepare for the new school year.
