A CULBURRA Beach man who recorded a threatening phone message has been fined $500 and put on a 12-month good behaviour bond.
In Nowra Local Court, Michael Anthony Wells, 41, of Allerton Avenue pleaded guilty to using a carriage service to menace and breaching an AVO.
At 8.45am on November 17 last year, his victim, who had an AVO out against Wells, noticed he had left a message on her mobile.
She listened and heard him making menacing comments about her partner.
The woman went to Nowra Police and replayed the message.
That afternoon police went to Wells’ home and arrested him. He denied calling the woman.
