GOOD READING: Nowra Town Band volunteers Lynette Milligan and Barbara Hinnrichsen sort out the many books that will be on sale at bargain prices this weekend.
THE early bird will be out to get the best book this weekend when the Nowra Town Band holds its popular book sale.
A line of book lovers is expected to be waiting at the band’s hall in Kinghorne Street early Saturday morning and Sunday.
The hall will be open from 9am until 4pm Saturday and 9am until 3pm on Sunday with a range of titles to rival any other book sale.
There will be pre-owned books suitable for all ages, fiction and non-fiction at affordable prices.
“It’s our major fund-raising event of the year,” said committee member Stuart Harwood.
“It helps to cover the costs of the hall and will keep the band running into its 132nd year.”
Mr Harwood encouraged the public to check out the bargains and support the local band.
“We have a wonderful collection of books we have collected throughout the year. There really is something for everyone,” he said.
