FRACTURING a man’s fibula has resulted in a 170 hour community service order for a Shoalhaven Heads man.
In Nowra Local Court, Wade Patrick Hokin, 23, of Jerry Bailey Road, pleaded guilty to assault causing actual bodily harm.
Around midnight on November 20, 2011, his victim who lived in a motorhome woke to the sound of banging noises.
He went outside and saw Hokin who had previously rented a flat from him.
Hokin grabbed the man and kicked his legs from under him, causing him to fracture his calf bone.
When police arrested Hokin three days later he told them he had drunk five cans of Jack Daniels and cola that night.
In court Hokin was ordered to attend 20 hours of anger management as part of his community service order.
