WORK on the new roundabout at the Princes Highway intersection with Hillcrest Avenue will resume this week.
A number of changed traffic conditions will be in place from today.
Night work will be carried out on Wednesday, January 16 from 8pm to 5am from McKay Street to Browns Road.
From Thursday, January 17 to mid-February the right turn into and out of Hillcrest Avenue at the Princes Highway will be closed.
From Monday, January 21 to Friday, January 25 there will be no access into and out of Hillcrest Avenue at the Princes Highway.
From Sunday, February 3 to Friday, February 15, night work will be carried out on the Princes Highway from McKay Street to Central Avenue from 8pm to 5am, Sunday night to Friday morning each week.
Hillcrest Avenue will be temporarily closed during night work with access for residents maintained from Old Southern Road.
Once the roundabout is installed, traffic on the Princes Highway between Hillcrest Avenue and Kinghorne Street will be temporarily moved onto the western side of the highway.
Local detours for access to Hillcrest Avenue will be in place via Quinns Lane, Old Southern Road, Greenwell Point Road and Kalandar Street when appropriate, and will be clearly signposted.
