THE car park and picnic area at Summercloud Bay is closed.
Owners of the land, the Wreck Bay Community Council has closed the area to the general public until March 1.
A spokesperson for National Parks pointed out the Summercloud Bay area was not a part of Booderee National Park, rather it was owned by the Wreck Bay Community.
“There are signs at the Jervis Bay National Park entry station booths and each visitor who buys a ticket to enter receives an information slip explaining the closures,” the spokesperson said.
“People are advised to use other areas of the park.”
