THE winged Sprintcars may have been the headline act at Nowra Speedway last Saturday night, but it was the compact Speedcars that stole the show.
A full field of the rapid little screamers put on a night of spectacular action as they raced wheel to wheel for the NSW Compact Speedcar title.
The speedway was packed to the rafters with spectators raring to see the title, as well as modified production sedans, 1600 sedans and junior sedans. Queensland’s Gary Hudson made the trek into NSW and returned north of the border with the state title tucked into his kick bag
when he finished ahead of Rob Eyeington and
Mark Maczek.
