IT is with great disappointment that we are responding to the views of P. Motbey, who felt it necessary to trash the reputation of local Shoalhaven caravan businesses in a recent letter to the editor (‘Show boycott embarrassing’, October 15).
EBOLA is not a laughing matter, which is why we were surprised when a federal Health Department spokesperson laughed at a question we put about contingencies for navy personnel returning from the United States.
IT’S embarrassing to think that this only happens in the Shoalhaven, when an outdoor caravan and camping show is held and attended by 7000 people over a three-day period that our local caravan dealers deliberately boycott the event. Their actions say more about them then their grievances.
THE latest snow job by the two local state MPs, Gareth Ward and Shelley Hancock, involves a petition for more parking at Shoalhaven Hospital and the writing of letters calling for more police at the Bay and Basin.
