ON behalf of my colleagues and myself I would like to thank all of the exhibitors, too many to mention and all valuable, the transport providers, and the region’s year 10 high school students and teachers for their participation in the Shoalhaven Careers Expo.
AS a lifelong resident of the Shoalhaven, I can certainly appreciate the affinity that many have with the old Nowra bridge. Undoubtedly, it is one of the truly iconic attractions which identifies our town.
People receiving unemployment benefits should make a good attempt at getting a job. Putting an arbitrary number on the number of jobs they would have to apply for, however, has created a potential nightmare – for employers and jobseekers alike.
IN light of your July 23 editorial and surveys by your paper of Junction Court users, I think your readers should understand the background of the decision to redevelop and reopen the area to one-way traffic.
