WELL said, Joanna Gash, in ‘War of words over Asian literacy’ (SCR, October 26).
You represent a balanced view by saying you’d like to see more money spent on ensuring students were English-literate before Asian literacy skills - $6.24 million for 39 schools and, you guessed it, none in the Shoalhaven.
Neil Reilly, typically Labor and leaning towards all things Asian, what about your Labor mates who are in government at State and Federal levels looking after our unemployment rates in the Shoalhaven?
You offer yourself as an alternative choice come election time but all you do is spout the party line. Talk about the big picture.
Well, Mr Reilly, we have news for you. You will have to earn our votes through responsible activity not political posturing.
Stick to your guns, Joanna, and see this interloper on his way.
B. Cumberland,
North Nowra.
