Bomaderry 3/48 d Ulladulla United 46
After winning the toss, United was in trouble from the first ball with opener Terry Dorrell being caught by Nathan Bowden at second slip, from the bowling of Stuart Jeffrey.
Skipper Aaron Basile came in to join Jason Linke, but after scoring a single he was trapped lbw by Jordan Matthews, making the score 2/3.
Joel Tibbetts held the attack at bay for half an hour, but on 6 he too went lbw to the accurate Matthews.
Craig Barca failed to get off the mark, being caught off Jeffrey by Shane Wallace at first slip.
Jon Kingston also failed to score, going for a big hit off spinner Hugh Rigney and Nick Jennings took the catch at deep mid-wicket.
After surviving for 49 balls, opener Linke was stumped by keeper Paul Sawkins when Rigney lured him from the crease, to make the score 6/26 in the 16th over.
Mark Jackson (7) was next to go, caught by Heath Muller at second slip, from the bowling of Ben Lynch.
Zac Smith (3) showed a sound defence but he was eventually bowled by Lynch.
Back after a long lay-off, Brett Poulus was then caught by Rigney off Bowden.
Glen Cameron was the only batsman to make double figures, but then hit a return catch to Muller to end the innings at 46 in the 30th over.
All six bowlers shared the wickets, with Jeffrey, Matthews, Rigney and Lynch taking two apiece.
Bomaderry opened with Jennings and Travis Roth, but the stand was broken in the fourth over when Jennings (3) went lbw to Linke.
Roth was joined by Bowden and they took their team to within four runs of victory.
Playing his first game since leading United to the 2004-05 premiership, Jackson came into the attack and grabbed two quick wickets.
He had Roth (15) caught by Poulus, and then bowled Jason Bell (0).
However Bowden was on 26 and with Muller guided the visitors home from the first ball of the 11th over.
