OVER THE TOP CENTURY - Slow outfield fails to stop Higgins

06 Feb, 2012 08:08 AM
Forget making hay, Ex-Servicemen fourth grade captain and all-rounder Shawn Higgins decided to make runs in the sunshine on Saturday by going on a big hitting rampage against the Ulladulla Blues side at Milton Showground.

The rare sight of the sun and blue sky certainly agreed with Higgins who smashed an amazing 12 boundaries and 13 sixes on his way to an unbeaten 168 runs.

Higgins’ high scoring innings and 3/14 with the ball put his side in a dominant position after day one of their match.
