It will be an important hit out for both sides ahead of the new Super 15 Rugby Competition getting under way.
This year will also mark the seventh staging of the Rugby World Cup to be hosted by our close neighbours and fearsome sporting foes, New Zealand.
Australia has held the World Cup aloft twice since this competition for world rugby supremacy began in 1987 and is poised to mount a serious assault again this year.
Local sports fans will have a unique opportunity to see current and emerging rugby stars in action as they vie for a place in the World Cup squad.
There is no better place to see these players than at Shoalhaven Rugby Park with its amphitheatre seating and with everyone close to the play.
There will be two games played on the night with the first starting at 5:30pm.
These are serious games of rugby between two worthy foes pitting such lionhearts as Nathan Sharpe, Richard Brown and David Pocock against the bruising Phil Waugh, Wycliff Palu and Al Baxter.
In the backs there will be the dynamic Kurtley Beale and Berrick Barnes with the flying Drew Mitchell representing the Waratahs, while the Force will have the effervescent James O’Connor and super quick, Cameron Shepherd, on display.
Emerging players such as the giant Kane Douglas, 203 centimetres and 123 kilograms, for the Waratahs will also feature prominently throughout the evening.
Tickets for the game are limited so get in early by booking through the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre at www.shoalhavenentertainment.com.au to purchase tickets which are only $20 for adults and $10 for children with family tickets for $50 also on sale.
