AT 3.05pm on Friday afternoon, police patrolling MacLeans Point Road Sanctuary Point, pulled over a 34-year-old female from Sanctuary Point for a random breath test.
Whilst police officers were speaking to the offender, a strong smell of intoxicating liquor could be smelt.
She was subjected to a roadside breath test, which proved positive.
The offender was arrested and conveyed to Huskisson Police Station where she underwent a breath analysis.
The woman returned a reading of 0.120, middle range PCA.
It was also discovered that the female was unlicensed and that her licence had expired.
She was charged with middle range PCA and being unlicensed.
