Traffic measures for Currarong

04 Nov, 2009 08:09 AM
CURRARONG is set to receive a number of traffic facility upgrades to reduce congestion on Piscator Avenue.

A no stopping zone will be established on the south-western corner of Piscator Avenue and Walton Way to reduce congestion at the junction and in the area opposite the shops.

To encourage traffic to circulate through Beecroft Parade to Weber Parade, a double barrier will be installed on Piscator Avenue, which will also reduce U-turn manoeuvres.

A double barrier with raised reflective markers will also be installed at the junction of Beecroft Parade and Weber Parade.

This is designed to stop motorists cutting the corner when manoeuvring through the junction.
