08 Feb, 2010 08:29 AM
A PROVISIONAL driver licence holder, allegedly recorded driving his vehicle at 99 kilometres-per-hour in a 70 zone, was arrested by Shoalhaven police early yesterday morning.

The 22-year-old Culburra resident was stopped on the Princes Highway in Nowra for speeding and also returned a positive breath test.

He was taken to the Nowra Police Station where a further breath analysis returned a reading of 0.175.

The motorist is to appear at the Nowra Local Court on March 1 to answer high range drink driving, exceed speed limit and not displaying P-plates charges.
