Posters highlight pool fight

18 Nov, 2009 09:04 AM
THE Save Nowra Community Pool working group has ramped up its campaign with a poster blitz around the Shoalhaven.

“We started on the weekend,” said the group’s head Fiona Phillips.

“We put them up around the pool, schools, in North Nowra and did a letterbox drop.”

However the posters were removed from the pool site, under instructions from Shoalhaven City Council.

“They are trying to silence us but people are just getting more angry and annoyed,” Ms Phillips claimed.
