More than two years after he was jailed for sexually abusing two teenage followers Kamm, known to followers as The Little Pebble, has been the subject of revelations from his second wife Bettina.

She has told how she was living in Germany with her family when she met Kamm as he preached in the country.

Despite the fact she was just 16 he asked her to return to Australia with him to be his live-in nanny.

A few days later when the pair was alone for the first time Kamm raised the prospect of marriage, and a few months later Bettina received a 19-page fax written by Kamm, but supposedly coming from Jesus and Mary outlining what was described as “Heaven’s plan” for the two of them to be together.

The following year in 1991 with Kamm saying his first wife Anne was due to die by March 19, Kamm and Bettina were married spiritually in Germany.

But even then Bettina said she realised things were not right as Anne was still alive, but she said she dismissed the concerns because she was desperate to escape a dysfunctional and abusive family life.

After Anne left, Bettina and Kamm were together, but not alone because Kamm revealed plans to father a new and “holy” generation with 84 wives.

Kamm initially claimed his queens and princesses would become pregnant mystically, but whenever Bettina raised concerns she was told her fears were “the devil’s thoughts”.

Threats of eternal damnation were used to get her to obey, she revealed.

“Everyone in there believes the world is coming to an end, so William would tell them that they weren’t going to be saved.

“Those who dared question him would lose their title or position and he would tell them they would get sick and die and that they’d live in hell until judgement day – that’s how he controls people,” she said.
