SHOALHAVEN City Council will send representatives to the Climate Change Adaptation Forum and Workshop in late November.
Interested councillors will attend the two-day forum, which will address managing the risks of climate change adaptation and building resilience.
The councillors will be informed about the major risks and adaptation challenges they face and how to develop strategy and business models that are adaptive and resilient.
The ultimate aim is to reduce climate risk.
Among a number of guest speakers will be Director of CSIRO Climate Adaptation National Research Flagship Dr Andrew Ash and environmental geographer, educator and communicator Rob Gell.
The forum will run in Sydney from November 26-27.
