EIGHT bowlers from the Achievers Tenpin League travelled to Orange to represent the Shoalhaven at the Tenpin Bowling Australia State Championships (Disabilities).
And the local bowlers gained some great results.
Rosa Perkins placed third in singles D grade, first in teams E grade, first in doubles E grade and third in all events D grade.
Cara Cooper placed first in singles E grade, first in teams E grade, first in doubles E grade and first in all events E grade.
Jodee Mitchell placed first in singles D grade, first in teams E grade, first in doubles D grade and third place in all events D grade.
Laurie Birkett placed first in teams E grade and first in doubles D grade.
Patrick Clyne placed second in teams A grade.
Adam Richardson placed second in teams A grade, second in doubles B grade and second place in all events C grade.
Glenn Corbett placed first and second in two single events classic grade, second place in teams A grade, second place in all events classic grade and high game award with a 222 game and high series award of 585.
Steven Lucre placed second in singles A grade, second in teams A grade, second in doubles B grade, third in all events A grade and the most pins over average award of 62.
Adam, Steven, Glenn and Patrick have been selected for the NSW team trials to be held in February 2010.
If they are successful at these trials they will be part of the NSW team competing at the National Championships to be held in Western Australia in June 2010.
